Welcome to my new and improved website!

Over the past couple of  years I've suffered through domain name registration problems, hosting problems, and a slew of disasters which eventually led me to despair that I would ever get a proper website up and running. But now it looks like it's actually going to happen!

The site is still very much under construction, but we're hoping to get the rough edges patched up over the next few weeks. And once that's been done we'll be looking to add all the little extras and special bonuses I've been hoping to get on the site -- sample chapters, short stories, original essays.

I'm looking forward to what this site is going to offer. If you want to be automatically kept up to date you can check out our RSS Feed.

The Quotes section of the website is now completed and up to date.

As my current readers already know, my Sister Frevisse books all open with a quote from Thomas Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. The quotes are in the original Middle English, and I'm often asked two questions: Can I actually read Middle English? And what do the quotes mean?

The answer to the first question is, "More of the time than not." And the Quotes page is my way of answering the second.

The homepage for the Joliffe Series has been finished. It includes both covers and blurbs for the first three books: A Play of Isaac, A Play of Dux Moraud, and A Play of Knaves. In the near future we'll be adding sample chapters.

The fourth Joliffe book -- A Play of Lords -- will be released this August. It is not yet available for pre-order through Amazon.com, but it is through Amazon.co.uk.

May you all have a merry Memorial Day!

A Play of Lords is now available for pre-order through Amazon.com. They don't have a picture of the cover, but I do:

For a full-sized picture you can check out the Joliffe Series homepage. Come back soon or sign-up for our RSS feed because we'll be posting a sneak peek of the first chapter very soon.

The second half of the homepage for the Frevisse Series has been wrapped up. This update includes the overs and blurbs for the last seven books - from The Clerk's Tale all the way up to The Traitor's Tale. Keep a weather eye out for new bonus material coming soon. Now that the two major series pages have been completed - giving the website a firm foundation - it shouldn't be too long before we can start adding some content designed to stir up your blood.
